Activities
Montreal is full of culture, history, and beautiful places to explore. Many of the city’s iconic museums, parks, and attractions were created for the 1967 World’s Fair (Expo 67), which left behind incredible landmarks that can still be enjoyed today.
Museums & Cultural Attractions
Habitat 67 – One of Montreal’s most iconic landmarks, this futuristic modular housing complex was built for Expo 67 and remains a symbol of the city’s architectural creativity.
Montreal Insectarium – One of the largest insect museums in the world, featuring fascinating exhibits and living insect displays.
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal) – One of Canada’s largest art museums with collections spanning centuries of art and culture.
Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) – Canada’s leading museum devoted to contemporary art.
Montreal Science Centre – Interactive science exhibits located along the Old Port.
Biosphère – A striking geodesic dome originally built for Expo 67, now an environmental museum.
